Just something I thought up when I was walking around today. I realized that the reason I had art block was because I wasn't listening to myself and what I wanted to draw. Lately it's been "well, what would everyone else like to see today" instead of "what do I wanna draw today".
I get the feeling that either I'll be proud of this one for a while, or I'll regret it in the morning. Ah well.
Yeah, I think you should only draw what you want. Pleasing others comes with it, or not o_o
Hope this makes you feel better.
You're kinda agressive, but that's cool. It's always like this with you isn't it? ^^,
*YAY!*
I for one am glad that you realised that you remembered why we love your art Strype.
It's because you do wonderful stuff.
Not because you do what we want.
I'd give you a hug but Miss Coopie'd kick my fuzzy ass.

Art is an absolute mistress; she will not be coquetted with or slighted; she requires the most entire self-devotion, and she repays with grand triumphs.

Yeah, people who want someone to change, and do stuff for their wants should just screw-off. Never lose that pride of yours Strype, if ya do, people are just gonna walk all over ya for the rest of your life, which those of us that care about ya don't want.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
The Cutting Edge is a weekly article that features brand new selected high quality art products that caught our eyes. Check out the cutting edge prints some of your fellow artists have submitted in the past week!
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More
